At RPC, we offer a variety of learning options to meet the needs of the contemporary workforce. And, Webinars and Audio Conferences are learning options that make it easy for employees to get the training they need–in a format that works with their busy schedules. The difference between an Audio Conference and a Webinar is that an Audio Conference is a telephonic session only. For organizations that have employees in field positions, in which it may be difficult to obtain a reliable Internet connection to display a presentation, the Audio Conference is the best option. A copy of the presentation is sent to attendees in advance of the program, to enable them to follow along with the instructor and take notes for future reference. A Webinar program is different in that it does require an Internet connection in order for the instructor to display a presentation and move the slides forward during the program delivery. This option works very well in delivering a training session to a large number of attendees simultaneously. However, a reliable Internet connection to support a Webex/GotoMeeting format is necessary. Attendees also receive a hardcopy of the presentation, to enable them to follow along and take notes for future reference.

We offer our Webinar and Audio Conference programs in two ways: public programs and privately held programs. Our publicly offered programs are available for registration through several of our strategic partners in continuing education. To learn more about how to register for one of our publicly offered programs, please refer to our Events page for upcoming conferences and details.

For individuals and organizations in need of a Webinar or Audio Conference program, we create customized programs that are targeted to meet the desired learning objectives. As an example, we routinely design and facilitate Audio Conference and Webinar programs on the topics of FMLA Abuse, ADA compliance, The Fair Labor Standards Act, HR Documentation, and Performance Management, just to name a few. Generally, our Webinar and Audio Conference programs are 90 minutes in length. However, we do provide some customized options that enable the creation of a learning track, in which multiple conference sessions can be scheduled in succession, over a period of weeks or months.
